TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT

In almost 3 hours Blue Sky will be setting up her stall at her first craft fair!!!! I am so excited and rather nervous! There was a last minute dash to Hobby Craft this morning, the production of 10 more button rings and a glorious button hairclip for me to wear tonight and that I instantly wished I had bought more of the materials to make them because then I could have sold them!!! There will be mulled wine, minced pies and all manner of Christmas merriment! Demonstrations from La Tete Ou Tou and My Secret Kitchen will also take place! So sit tight for photos, wish me luck and fingers crossed!!!!

These new hairclips will be done in a range of button types and will be on sale at the next craft fair of show by Blue Sky for £4

1 week to go and a visit from Vistaprint

Well, it is now a question of counting down the days to Blue Sky Designs first craft fair (24th November) and in one of my inspiring moments I paid a visit to Vistaprint and found myself gawping at my netbook screen in awe! T-shirts, business cards, cups, pens, mugs, stamps, stickers, calenders, cotton bags, business card holders and the list was endless. I found myself producing a order sheet within minutes of opening the homepage of the site! How exciting....and to finish off today I shall be paying a visit to the HobbyCraft website, in all its glory!!!!

Today's Project

The next scribble on Blue Sky's to do list was to paint a new logo! So I burrowed myself away in the studio early in the morning, with my paints at hand and a stack of DVDs, I didn't emerge until 5 in the evening with a finished logo...

Next step...Crochet!

After much crafting this morning, I decided that (considering how much I love wool and how much I have of it) crochet is the perfect direction for Blue Sky Designs. Along with all my jewellery and bits and bobs, I would love to learn to crochet little things into broaches or just cute nic-nacs! So the mission is....to invade my Nanna's house and learn a new skill! What will I look like on my scooter (Daisy, pale blue with daisys all over) with my wool hamper by my feet, riding through the countryside???
